Jack’s Colon Cancer Testimony
As some of you may already know, I was diagnosed with colon cancer in October of 2018. Several months previous to that I had severe heart burn and indigestion and had been rapidly losing weight no matter how much I ate. I knew there was something drastically wrong and I had concerns it might be cancer of some kind. I went from 190 pounds down to around 160 and my 6’3” frame was beginning to look like a skeleton. So, I made an appointment with my family doctor and he had the same suspicions, which proved to be correct after an endoscopy and colonoscopy. The endoscopy revealed moderate gastritis and the colonoscopy revealed a large mass near my descending colon, but I had to wait for the results of a biopsy to be sure. After a few days, which seemed like an eternity, the results were in and my worst fears were realized, it was indeed colon cancer.
As soon as I knew for sure it was cancer, I was encouraged by a long-time friend to begin drinking Essiac tea. More from him in a minute. I had heard about Essiac years previous to my diagnosis but thought I would never need it since there was no family history of cancer. This just goes to show you that anyone can get cancer no matter their lifestyle or heredity.
I had been a vegetarian and then a strict vegan for nearly 50 years, so please don’t pass judgment upon someone when they get sick. I had a good friend who died of pancreatic cancer a few years ago and he was more careful with his diet than anyone else I know, so let’s show a little sympathy rather than condemnation when someone you know gets cancer, because it’s no respecter of persons. We live in the most degenerate age since creation, and you never know when a sickness like this may strike you or a loved one.
Anyway, I had pretty much forgotten about Essiac tea until my friend refreshed my memory. So I ordered the tea on the Internet, and I’ll share that information with you in a few minutes, and I started drinking the therapeutic dose of 3 ounces 4 times a day for about 4 weeks before surgery was scheduled.
At this point let me just say that I would not recommend not consulting a physician and try to heal yourself without surgery. Modern medicine, while not the answer to everything, does have its place, and that was definitely the case in my situation because of how far the cancer had advanced, although there are those who have become cancer free without surgery by just following the Essiac tea regimen.
One of the things Essiac does is draw the spread of cancer back to its original source before finally eliminating it, and I believe that’s what happened in my case, because during the removal of a tumor the size of a tennis ball, along with 4 inches of my colon, the surgeon also removed 31 lymph nodes to see if the cancer had spread, which we found out after lab testing that all 31 came back negative. This was a faith builder in Essiac tea for me and was a surprise to my surgeon that the cancer hadn’t gone any further. When he told me the results I said, “Praise the Lord!” And he said, “praise the Lord is right”, because he had been concerned that it may have metastasized to my liver and perhaps elsewhere like it does with the majority of cases that are not dealt with right away.
One other thing I did was research into how diet affects cancer and found that alkaline foods are preferred, because cancer thrives in an acidic system. You can research which foods are alkaline and which are acidic and make your own choices from there. The other thing I did was cut out all sugar because it weakens the immune system, and I believe all these things combined resulted in the positive outcome I experienced.
Now for my friend’s testimony. If he were telling it he would give much more detail, but I’ll at least give the highlights. One day this friend of mine was asking his propane delivery man how he was doing, and the man began telling him about his wife having Stage 4 cancer and that the doctors sent her home with six months to live. So, my friend told him about Essiac Tea and all its benefits, and the man said he would tell his wife, but he wasn’t sure she would do it. The next time propane was delivered, my friend asked the man about his wife again, and he said she ordered the tea and was taking it four times a day, and her next visit to the doctor revealed a change for the better, and the doctor told her whatever she was doing, to keep doing it, because it was working. For another year she continued taking her Essiac tea and became cancer free! Now it’s been about 5 years and she wouldn’t be without it and intends to drink the tea that saved her life as long as she lives and is so thankful that someone told her about this life saving natural remedy.
Once a year now, just as a precaution, I myself continue to purchase a 3-month supply of Essiac tea just for maintenance. However, I did want to get this information out right away, because I now realize the seriousness of the disease and want to give hope to those of you who might be going through a cancer crisis, or perhaps someone you know who might be mentally down because of a bad diagnosis.
